vamysteryfanDidn't do much yesterday. I helped a friend empty out part of her storage unit. It's so much easier to be ruthless about other people's stuff. Mine, of course is all pure gold. :) I walked around Dupont Circle for a while. The costumes came out early. The area is starting to rival Georgetown for a Hallowe'en street scene. It helped that the local bars were all running a bar crawl.
I went home before dark and curled up with a nice pale ale and Maria Lima's new Blood Kin. Very appropriate, since it has vampires, shapeshifters and Faery. And a couple of the minor characters were called Daniel and Jack, and John and Rodney :) Nice shout-out. I think this is the best of the three so far. Very gripping story and some nice character development. Well worth the read.
