A brief moment of venting

You can pass right by it.
Sometimes the place I work is really screwy. Most of the time it's really screwy. One of the issues I have is that I sit separately from the rest of the editors. Not far away at all but on the other side of one of those gray dividers. For a while, I was here by myself, but they put a new developer next to me. The problem is that we get left out of a lot of things. Most days, the only time someone comes by is to tell us we've done something wrong.
This morning, I was watching to see when the 10 am meeting was going to start. The section leader can be pretty erratic about start times. I got caught up in a project. My cubicle mate and I both missed the meeting. What's bugging me is that the section leader came over and made a point of telling us we missed the meeting *after* it was over. How hard would it have been for her or one of the eight others to give us a headsup when it started? I don't mind getting left out of a lot of things, but this was just the limit.
So my motivation is shot and I found some really terrific meme-spam from Ande. Particularly appropriate in view of the LA festivities.
