A peaceful summer evening

vamysteryfanNo drama here, no great insights, not much of anything except an appreciation of fireflies.
I had the chance to sit out on a porch and watch the fireflies. This is close to the end of their time. The locusts are sending out their alien music and the Rose of Karen trees are in full bloom. But the fireflies are spiraling up into the trees. I don't really look at fireflies. I sit and unfocus my eyes and spot their lights out of the corners of my eyes. And enjoy the twilight.
