The local church put up the luminaria to light the paths for tonight, which always makes me smile.

I was feeling a little down and grinchly while trying to finish my shopping. But then I really did realize what it was about - sharing with my siblings and sharing the day and appreciating the sentiments of the season.

I have a Jewish housemate, so I keep my creche in my room. After he left for the week, I put up the tree with some presents and toys under it for a few days in the living room.

I'll wrap the toys for the kids tonight and finish the baking and midnight mass is looming real soon now.
