misanthrope7842 posted a couple of recipes that I decided to try tonight. One was for black bean patties - sort of like veggie burgers. She was right - the wet-dry ratio was off a bit. I'd be interested in working on it a bit more. I made it with rolled oats instead of bread crumbs. That added a bit more texture.

The corn cake on the other hand was a complete success. I made it in a little loaf pan, so I can slice it up. I was a tad dubious about the rosemary, but it made the dish. It was a nice contrast to the sweetness of the creamed corn. Totally adding it to the rotation!
