Aug. 13th, 2010 12:13 pmWednesday's Washington Post dedicated its Food Section to tomato recipes. There's a bunch of really good-looking recipes from hors d'oeuvres to desserts. So there will be a few of those coming up.
Top Chef had Restaurant Wars. I usually love that episode. The QuickFire had the blindfold challenge. That was a lot of fun to watch.
Restaurant Wars wasn't as good as usual. The chefs didn't have to create their spaces - they used a preexisting restaurant. I love seeing the choices made in past years. I think Kenny deserved to go home. If Tre could go home for his restaurant's failure, then definitely Kenny should. And I was really tired of his "I'm the alpha male" routine.
I thought the piling on on Alex was distasteful. He's on the winning team - he's not going home. The losing team just made themselves look worse.
