Had an amazingly jolly time last night

due to the completely fabulous sangria I consumed. The Page has added a new white wine/peach schapps/rum/fruit sangria invented by one of the bartenders. I shared a pitcher with three friends and it was just right for a pleasant buzz.

Chas is a complete darling. He's 98 years old but still likes to go out on a Friday night. Mel, Hank and I envy his liver. His doctor tried to make him stop drinking but hey at 98, party on dude. He was crotchety when we first arrived but the sangria soon put a smile on his face.

I couldn't post last night because there were severe thunderstorms in the DC area (that's my story and I'm sticking to it)
