Some comments on Top Chef
Aug. 24th, 2007 07:47 pmI'm really sad that Tre went home last night but yeah it was the right decision. The other choice would have been Malarkey.
Does anyone besides me think the chefs are being coddled a bit on this season? I think Leeanne as the inhouse supervisor is being a bit too generous. Exhibit 1: The tasting episode. Season One had to do 20 tastes and no one got more than four right. This season, people fluffed because the chefs were going down so fast. Exhibit 2: Harold noticed that Leeanne is providing higher class ingredients in the pantry - C'mon, foie gras as a pantry ingredient? I don't think so.
But I was musing over what I would do, and I would do a seasonal vegetarian restaurant. I'll provide more on that later.
Bye Tre! I'll miss the guns :)
