vamysteryfan | As if life wasn't sucking hard enough

Sorry, I need to vent. My cell phone got recalled for obsolescence. My service provider said they wouldn't support that model anymore. This has to be a first! Seriously, they said they'd give me a new one but while I'm waiting for the new one to arrive, they deactivated the old one. This is the absolute worst time for me to be without a phone. It's hard to jobhunt without a phone. I keep worrying about calls I might have missed. The phone wasn't that old, maybe three years. And I don't need a phone that will take photos and has a spiffy screensaver. I just need it to make telephone calls.

I really regret the decision not to have a landline, but my two housemates and I agreed that it wasn't worth the hassle, since we all have cells. Grrrr! And I missed Easter phone calls. Grrr.
