Only one more left ::is sad:: - this is week nineteen.
I got to the pickup point a little earlier than usual, so I thought I'd try a few more photos of what the pickup looks like. It was a lovely warm afternoon.

From left to right, sage, Japanese eggplant, basil, sweet and hot peppers and garlic, parsley, apples, and sorrel, all anchored by two more big sweet potatoes. There was some oregano too, but it was shy and didn't want to be photographed.
So far I've made curried sweet potatoes and sweet potatoes with apples and onion. I'm thinking I might try my hand at a sweet potato pie. I think I'll leave out the marshmallows and go for a less sweet taste. What do you all think? Any Southerners out there with a favorite recipe?
