Spoiler-ish.
Cute scene at the beginning where they are playing basketball. I liked the way Teal'c would casually give Cameron a little push every time he tried to make a basket. And the way he picked up Vala to make a basket. Reminded me a little of 3-Point Shot, especially the comments Bruce made at the Con about the pro players.
Liked the Bacchus-type Goa'uld. But I thought the Goa'uld always stole their technology, they didn't invent anything? Ah well ::handwave::
Vala was really good in this one - right about the Goa'uld and saving the universe. I'll miss her, which says a lot because I didn't much care for her at first.
Small technical point - black holes are made by collapsing stars, not collapsing planets. Don't think the handwave is gonna work for me there.
The reintroduction of Samantha Carter was handled very badly. Really stupid phone conversation. Could they please get her a new hairdresser? And why was Landry all over Carter but rather dismissive of Daniel?
MS is much better looking when he's clean-shaven. Just MHO.
Oh my! Snark and arrogance everywhere, followed by comeuppance. I'm glad they didn't go the Super!Rodney route.
That moment when McKay says Trust me and Sheppard does? Lovely.
Think Weir's hairdresser learned from Carter's. Ecch.
Ronon and Teyla's storyline
Sadly, my taping ended right after McKay's line about hoping he hadn't lost Sheppard's trust, so I don't really know how it ended. Stupid SciFi channel - they should warn us when they play around with times. I think they timed it deliberately for that line.
And they cancelled NUMB3RS for the Redskins pre-season game. Boooo!
