Rabbit, rabbit!
Aug. 1st, 2022 02:06 pm Happy August 1! Where dies the time go? especially since I haven't been doing that much. This time last year, I'd been to one nephew's wedding and was getting ready for another. This year I've been taking life easier. It's been the usual DC hazy, hot and humid, so I do my daily walks either early in the morning or later in the evening. They've opened up the Riverwalk from Titanic Guy up to the Tidal Basin. The cool breezes from the river make it so pleasant. The new docks are really popular with visitors. We don't get nearly as many boats just anchoring in the river.
My big accomplishment in June was finally getting the Social Security Administration to realize I'm me. I'm still resolving some aspects of the identity theft thing and I'd still really like to know who did it but I'll settle for what I can get. It helped to have government employees back in their offices.
Recent Books I've Read: A couple of very nice romances and older women by Linda Holmes, Evvie Drake Starts Over and Flying Solo. Also True or False by Cindy Otis, about spotting disinformation.
Hope everyone is doing well!
