So that happened
Jul. 31st, 2018 01:08 pm I had a pretty nice birthday. I went to a couple of photography exhibits that I've meaning to see. Then I saw Ant Man and the Wasp. It had one of the best San Francisco car chases I've ever seen - even better than Bullitt or What's Up, Doc? And dang, but Paul Rudd has barely changed since Clueless days. I want to check his attic for a "special" portrait. Had cake the day after.
My SIL's mom passed away on Friday. It's particularly tough since her dad died four months ago. We're all just trying to be there for her.
I couldn't stop humming a revised version of 16 Tons "another year older and deeper in debt." Sing it, Ernie!
I have a new addiction to the BBC Radio Player. There's always something. Lately I've listened to Three Men and a Dog, Murder at the Vicarage (Miss Marple), and a series about an amateur detective Paul Temple. That one was classic 1930s. There's also been some good sci-fi.
