The hazards of eating healthy
Jan. 26th, 2013 04:15 pmI thought I'd try making my own breakfast bars/energy bars. I got a very simpple recipe from the Doctor Oz Show - instant oats, peanut butter, dried fruit, honey, and vanilla. They were really tasty, but it only made a small amount. Then I calculated the calories. Yikes! Each small bar had about 200 calories in it! It would have been really easy to eat them all at one sitting, too.
