Frozen Heat by Richard Castle. These books for the TV series actually aren't bad. Fluff but decent fluff.

The Scholastic Guide to the American Presidents. Okay, it was written for teenagers but it was a great review for each of the presidents and important events during their administrations. Very readable.

There wasn't much in the way of finished books this week. I've been going through Buildings of DC learning all about architecture, history, and DC culture. Can't really call it finished yet.

I also volunteered this weekend at Foto Week DC. There will be photos of photo (?) RSN

I can't turn the part of my brain off

that spots typos, even during a nice afternoon walk.



I thought I'd explore one of the sites for the Civil War earthwork forts. It wasn't too far from me and the weather was nice. Basically the big open field is all that's left. The walk around the fort has the signposts.

( There's not much left - they were earthworks after all )
