Smithsonian Kite Festival Today

It drew a lot of people to the Mall, even though it was cloudy and not that windy (and the Japanese cherry blossoms are done). The display area for the kite clubs was down by the Washington Monument. Some pretty fancy kites there! The family section was in fromt of the Agriculture Department. Lots of children having a blast, lots of adults having fun too.

It was a nice day for walking along the Mall. Sister 3 is in town. Tomorrow we are going out for brunch to celebrate her birthday. Tonight is the time for Cleaning All the Things.
