Books wot I am reading

I have two books on the go right now. One is The Shallows by Nicholas Carr. It's about how The nets and Google is changing the way we think. There was some info from TS Eliot that's lingering in my brain. He wrote that changing from writing his poems longhand to writing them on a typewriter changed his poetry. He stopped writing such long sentences.

The other is The High King of Montival by SM Stirling. It's apocafic, the seventh in a series. He does a great job of world building.
