I don't like yogurt. I've never been able to just buy a container and eat it for lunch.

However, it has redeemed itself in my eyes. Particularly Greek yogurt. It turns out it makes a nice salad dressing. And I mix yogurt with mayonnaise for a more substantial dressing for say egg salad or chicken salad.

As in most of the Northeast, it's really hot and humid in DC. And we need rain.

Gonna go see what's to be seen at my local farmers' market.

Both are great, just in different ways. With a CSA you have food grown in a specific area by a specific farmer. You know exactly what's going on at the farm. With the farmers' market, at least around here, you have choices from different farms within a 100 mile radius. Ripening times can vary quite a bit.

We have a small farmers' market on Tuesday afternoon. A florist, a baker, a fruit stand and several veggie stands plus a community booth.

I got fresh corn picked that day, some gorgeous early onions, and yellow and green squash. So in the next few days I'll have some dishes to share.

I don't have as a direct a connection but I have a wider variety than a CSA farm could share. It's all a tradeoff.
