How all occasions do inform against me
Jan. 21st, 2010 10:23 pmFor reasons which do not need to be gone into at this juncture, I am having a seriously bad day. Tomorrow will probably be worse. I thought I would comfort myself with the new episode of the Mentalist, but due to some nasty sleet my TV reception is really poor. Boooo. I can watch it off and on though.
Since I don't have cable I've been getting into some of the broadcast TV shows I've previously neglected. The Mentalist is surprisingly tasty. Fairly clever plots, it's not at all like Psych, and Simon Baker does a wonderful Jane. I also like Bones more than I thought I would and Criminal Minds. House has been fabulous, so have the NCIS shows.

Stupid line
Erich Segal passed away. Author of possibly the sappiest movie/novel ever, though he was also a respected professor of the classics.
Ah, come on, confess. You cried too. When it came out, women from eight to eighty sobbed over it. It was worse than the Titanic or West Side Story on the guilty pleasure meter.
Cue the music "how do I begin to tell the story of how great a love can be...." Okay the music was the sappiest ever. :: clutches memorial hanky::
