Aug. 30th, 2009 11:22 amYesterday I went to Arlington Cemetery. I was one of many people lining the route for the funeral procession for Sen. Kennedy. After the hearse went by, the family cars followed. Most of them had their windows down and the family waved their thanks.
It made me a bit melancholy. I saw Patricia, the last surviving sibling. I would so hate to outlive all my siblings, but at least I haven't lost ay of them yet and none to violence.
Kenedy made amends for the bad things he did in his life and did more than most to improve the lot of others less fortunate. RIP.
