Behind on comments again :(

People are having adventures on archaeological sites, hiking and looking at nature, buying houses, and even having adventures of the bad medical sorts. I read everyone's stuff, but I don't always have enough time to comment (internet access is a little limited right now).

Anyway, I'm still here, though my adventures are not that exciting right now :). I had a nice belated birthday dinner with one sister at a British style resaurant called Union Jacks. All the dishes are named after British personages current and historical and some of the descriptions are hysterical. The Saturday before that we had a going-away party for my niece who will be spending her junior year in Grenoble. She's the one who spent a summer in Dakar, Senegal. She's very excited about this adventure and everyone is madly planning ways to visit her :) The job hunt continues. I had a reasonably productive weekend full of errands and such.

And before I forget - a belated Happy Birthday to simonesa and Happy Birthday to nialla42. May there be much cake and grink!

So apparently there was a con in Chicago this weekend?

Here's a report and some lovely pictures of Joe Flanigan, Michael Shanks and the Atlantis cast. Great stuff! Wish I could have been there.
