Doom, I tell you, Doom!
Aug. 22nd, 2008 12:39 pmor maybe I am slightly over-caffeinated. But i have this feeling of DOOM!
Possibly I've been reading too much about this Stargate Universe that is replacing Atlantis. First, how stupid is it that they are shifting focus to a spaceship? Second, anyone besides nme remember the other times that show was made and failed? Let's see, there was Deepwater Black (notable chiefly for giving Nicole deBoer her start), there was that even more ridiculous show The Starlost. And even shades of the original Battlestar Galactica. Third, why do TV showrunners hate my demographic?
I'm also a tad paranoid about starting my new job tomorrow. Forgiveable, I think, given the awful thing that happened the last time I started a new job. And there's a large family gathering tomorrow that has the potential for utter disaster.
I think I'll find some antacids and a nice soothing junky book to read.
Not too much internet access this weekend, so everyone have a good one!
