Canal Walk in Georgetown
Apr. 27th, 2008 02:04 pmI have the option of changing buses in Georgetown when I go back and forth to Clarendon (See A Week in My Life). Now that the weather is getting nicer, it's a pleasant walk when I have the time.
This particular day, I walked along the C&O Canal. They haven't started the canal boat rides yet, but the canal is looking good.

Hard to believe that there's a very elegant shopping street just a block away. The photos go from a full lock with closed gates to the lock just before the river, pretty empty.
