In other news, I still have the MDP (martian Dealth Plague). Bad coughs last night, but I found an unexpected way to soothe myself to sleep. I put an NCIS tape into the player and let it run. Most of the voices are deep enough to soothe and I know the stories well enough to let the voices wash over. It does however give me these interesting action-type dreams.

Lunar Eclipse Tonight!

It starts at about 8:30 pm EST, totality starts about 10 pm, and ends a little after midnight. I do not know how the times change for you all out there but I hope you get a chance to see it. Sadly, the weather sucks in my neck of the woods, so I will miss it. But enjoy, if you can see it :)

The weather cleared up enough for me to see a lot of the lunar eclipse. It was spectacular. The moon made a triangle with saturn and two rather bright stars for much of the night. I love the reddish sandy color the moon gets during the eclipse.

I do try to see them whenever they happen. Because really what are the odds? That the earth is just the right distance from the sun to occlude the moon but leave it visible and so pretty?
