May. 1st, 2007 12:24 pmHad a lovely, family-oriented weekend. My sister was down from Cambridge. We had a big family barbeque one day and then the two of us had a nice adult-conversation dinner the next. The family gatherings are great but the kids do tend to be the center of everything. It's hard to have uninterrupted conversations. They are four and six. We played some t-ball and caught caterpillars. And I colored. The four year oldcritiqued the way I drew trees and very seriously showed me the right way to do it. So cute.
Sister is now on her way down the East Coast to visit other family members in Delaware, North Carolina and Georgia. I think she picked the right time of year. The weather here has been glorious lately and she's just getting over the cold weather they had in Mass.
