Veggie post
Jul. 17th, 2006 12:14 pmI had some fun using up veggies over the weekend. I made spicy lentils, which is actually a dish I make quite often but this time the farm share included all the ones I needed. Some of it went in the freezer for meals later this week. I also made coleslaw from a recipe on Epicurious. Pretty much the usual, except it called for barbeque sauce. And I used fennel fronds instead of dill. Surprisingly tasty. I made a tomatillo salsa that tastes pretty good in a turkey sandwich.
