On a happier note

I mainlined Firefly this weekend. I'd been watching the weekly episodes and slowly getting into it. My housemate brought home the boxed set and I watched all of it plus about half the featurettes. The DVDs have scenes that SciFi cut out (no, really?) I enjoyed them all quite a bit, I'm looking forward to seeing the movie, but I can see why it wasn't a commercial success.

This show isn't slashy as much as it is polymorphously perverse. I could see strange pairings all over the place. I think I'll skip the Firefly fic - unless someone has a really good one they can recommend.

And on a shallow note, Nathan Fillion has an amazingly fine ass. But I'll bet right now SciFi cuts that scene for broadcast.
