Weekly book post

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. What a remarkable book. The characters are unforgettable but the book itself is so hard to describe. It's set in Germany during World War 2 and Death is the narrator. The setting is perfectly described as well. I highly recommend it.

Steal Like an Artist by Austin Kleon. Short lavishly illustrated book on creativity. It has some very good advice, creatively :) presented.

The Old Gray Wolf by James Doss. I was saddened to read that Doss had passed away and this would be the last of the Charlie Moon stories. The beginning was slow going and was a little too arch. The last 100 pages were excellent. I'll miss his writing.
