Pinhole photography

After that interesting picture of Toronto, I started looking for information about pinhole cameras. There is surprisingly little info available, at least so far. I did find one cute book "Build Fun Paper Cameras" by Justin Quinnell. It has templates for making your own cameras and how to make a pinhole "lens." The book also pointed me to this site http://www.pinholeday.org/support/ There's lots of interesting resources (in assorted languages). It's fun to read about how to make your own and then the galleries show the results that can be achieved. Interesting stuff.

I happened to be walking through the gift shop at the National Gallery the other day and noticed they had light-sensitive paper to make sun prints. I might start with those and work my way to more complex projects.
